Troubleshooting
What to do when bedding looks compressed, damp, clumped or uneven.
My new pillow looks flat.
Remove all packaging and gently fluff the pillow from several sides. Let the fill redistribute in a clean, dry space. Contact Customer Care before washing if it does not recover normally.
My pillow feels damp, clumped or has an unusual odor.
Continue drying only at the setting permitted by the care label. Do not use high heat. If the issue remains after the center is fully dry, contact Customer Care.
My comforter fill looks uneven.
Lay it flat and gently redistribute the fill into the affected chamber. Do not machine wash it or pull hard at the seams unless product-specific instructions say otherwise.
I see persistent leakage or a damaged seam.
Stop cleaning or altering the item. Email your order number, product name and clear photos to Customer Care for review.

Can I machine-wash my Pacific Coast pillow or comforter?
Check the sewn-in label for your exact product. Standard pillow guidance allows cold, gentle machine washing, while current comforter guidance says to spot clean or dry clean and avoid machine washing.
Should I wash a pillow that arrived compressed?
Not necessarily. Remove the packaging and gently fluff the pillow. Let the fill redistribute in a dry, ventilated area. If it does not recover normally, contact Customer Care before washing it.
How do I know when my pillow is completely dry?
The center should have no cool damp areas, unusual odor or wet clumps. Drying time varies by product and equipment, so there is no universal number of minutes or dryer cycles.
What should I do if the fill clumps after washing?
Confirm that the pillow is completely dry, then gently break up and redistribute the fill by hand. Continue drying only if the sewn-in label allows it. Do not use high heat.
Can I use pillow washing instructions for my comforter?
No. Current pillow and comforter instructions are different. Comforters should be spot cleaned or dry cleaned as needed, and machine washing and high heat should be avoided unless the exact sewn-in label expressly permits another method.
Will cleaning restore my bedding to like-new condition?
Cleaning and fluffing can help maintain an item, but results vary by fill, construction, age, use and care history. Cleaning cannot be guaranteed to restore all loft or permanently eliminate odor.
Can I return a product after it has been cleaned?
No. Products that have been washed, laundered, dry-cleaned or otherwise cleaned are not eligible under the current return policy. Contact Customer Care before cleaning an item that may be damaged, defective, incorrect or otherwise eligible for return.
