I LOOOOVE, love , love my most comfy, silky soft, fluffy lightweight comforter & I LOOOOVE this company! I love this one more compared to their other lesser costly pure DOWN fiber comforter that is just like this one, but has the polyester and cotton blend! This one definitely has a cooling effect because the shell is made with 60% Tencell! Which is heavenly for me as hot sleeper. The Tencell is very soft, silky and lightweight-- being a natural fabric. Tencel is a durable, breathable, and highly absorbent eco-friendly fiber that I love. Tencel is made from sustainably sourced wood pulp (usually eucalyptus). They are not new to me, I’ve been purchasing bedding from them since college years! I still have 3 or 4 of their pillows from QVC late '90s! This company makes durable bedding. Think I first found them on QVC LOL. I'm so happy they are still around with so many reputable business going bankrupt (Saks) and others going out of business (Forever21, etc). I didn’t have a choice as to what color, we were given white, but the ocean-y blue one sure is pretty. Since we pay taxes it’s not exactly free, I pd over $1k to IRS this year for “free gifts” from 2025. So I'm careful about what I order. They have a more affordable comforter that is exactly like this one but it a polyester fabric shell which is nice too—but if you can afford to get this one , treat yourself! It’s a crazy value for money for being down fiber. Super soft and fluffy , especially after tossing it in dryer to fluff up. This one is divine! I have not washed this yet, I don't normally wash feather comforters because they are hard to dry. My feather comforters are inside a duvet, so I spot clean with THE LAUNDRESS plant based soap and then use DRYEL home dry cleaning. It lives inside my mulberry THX SILK duvet anyways . I have down pillows from PACIFIC COAST too and another insanely soft and light but made with a higher fill power down comforter from PC. Think I have 3 or 4 of their down feather and down fiber light-as-a-cloud puff comforters. I can’t ever imagine using another bedding company in my home not even from the pricey FG shop! I’m a loyal fan of PAC COAST since late 1990s when I discovered them at a luxe hotel. I’m a discerning shopper, the Picky Princess highly approves! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pac Coast for all bedding needs! PS This company is generous and includes a white oxford fabric zippered storage bag with a carry handle for taking it on road trips! Plus inc is a bonus musky earthy smelling round hang tag fabric freshener for storage use! It came vacuum sealed but I live in a warmer for winter climate in SoCal , so it puffed it within :15 min! Love PAC COAST😊💯💕

This comforter is an absolutely premium piece of bedding and easily one of the nicest lightweight comforters I have used. If you are a hot sleeper or live somewhere with warmer nights, this thing is basically the luxury hotel experience your thermostat has been unsuccessfully trying to achieve for years. The cooling Tencel shell genuinely works well and feels cool and breathable without having that weird synthetic "slimy cold bedsheet" sensation that some cooling products have. It regulates temperature extremely well and does an excellent job wicking away heat and moisture during the night, making it ideal for summer use or anyone who wakes up feeling like they spent the night wrapped inside a baked potato. Despite being lightweight, it still feels soft, fluffy, and substantial enough to be comfortable without becoming heavy or trapping excess heat. The goose feather and down fiber fill gives it that upscale hotel comforter feel where it lightly drapes over you instead of flattening you into the mattress like an emotional support weighted blanket. Build quality is outstanding overall. Stitching is clean, the sewn-through construction keeps the fill distributed evenly, and the corner tabs work well for duvet covers without bunching or shifting. The fabric quality especially stands out because it feels noticeably softer and more refined than most comforters in this category. I live in a warm climate and have been searching for a lightweight comforter that actually breathes. This one is perfect. As far as duvet inserts go, this lands among some of the more expensive ones for an obvious reason; inner material. As advertised, the insert does actually keep us cooler than our thicker down alternative one. It is very thin and fits in easily in our king size duvet cover. We have noticed most nights are now more comfortable and believe the duvet insert is helping quite a bit.

The material is cool and slick, but this poses a bit of a problem. Because of how smooth the surface is, it tends to recede and bunch up toward the middle and bottom of the duvet cover, leaving a large swath of empty duvet. It's been irritating having to open the duvet cover to tug the insert back up into place nightly. Luckily there are loops in a few places that you can attach to your duvet cover (if they have them) to help keep it from moving around. Our duvet doesnt have a middle attachment but the insert does, so it still tends to sag downwards, to no fault of tbe product. Try to use this in one that does have the attachment points if possible.

I bought one for me already. My wife sleeps hot, but this goose down comforter sleeps cool.

The shell is so soft that you want to cuddle in it.

Warning, these are NOT machine washable. If you do cuddle in it and you get sweaty, your body odor, or anything else gets on it, it needs to be dry cleaned.
